Triscan have designed a family of units which can be used for fleets with:

*A small number of vehicles and one or two pumps.

* Medium sized fleets with three or more pumps
and several hundred vehicles.

*Multi site facilities with very large fleets.
The equipment is largely modular and uses common items,
so upgrading from one size facility to another is possible.

SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF USING FUEL MONITORING EQUIPMENT ARE :-

* Completely secure, unattended 24 hour issuing of fuel possible.
* Elimination of fuel wastage. All fuel issue can be accounted for.
* No operator required for fuel issuing. Labour savings against existing
practices are possible.
* Capture of odometer readings (by driver keyboard entry) at
time of fueling and subsequent automatic calculations of fuel
consumption figures.
* Elimination of manual recordings at the pump and collation of
these at a later time. Reports are produced automatically at a
later time.
* Reports on distance traveled over a period of time, thus giving
basic date for FBT requirements.
* Possibility of connection to a remote data collection device,
such as a main frame computer or a PC allowing periodic reports
to be extracted.

It can be seen that each of these benefits can result in savings in operation costs. All have been shown in practice to give real improvements in efficiencies and pay back period against the cost of equipment can be under two years.
